In one of the more bizarre developments of 2021 — and that sure is saying a lot — the Biden Administration has opted to refer to the human beings that carry and birth children (ie, “mothers” in Ye Olde English) as “birthing people.”
Obviously, this is an attempt to be more inclusive to transgender individuals, particularly those who were born female and transitioned to being male. While identity is good and great for those who put a premium on it, it doesn’t change individual biology. If you’re born female, you are capable of getting pregnant and giving birth to another human.
Most Americans don’t really care for this kind of language. For those of us still living in reality, gender isn’t a malleable characteristic like your hair-do or your sense of fashion. It’s an intrinsic characteristic bestowed by nature, God, or whatever higher power you choose to acknowledge. There is nothing you can do about it. Hormone medication and highly invasive surgery (ie, “mutilation”) cannot and will never change any of that.
Looking at this issue, you might be led to believe that everyone with a left-of-center worldview is fully onboard with this. But as you’re about to see in the video below, even the liberals living in Los Angeles are pretty perplexed by this. It really makes you wonder — why is the Biden Administration going out of its way to placate such a small part of the population? What does anyone gain from this?
Naturally, there are plenty of people — usually blue-check-marked “activists” with a Twitter account — who think this is move from the Biden Administration is a trailblazing move that will cure all forms of discrimination. And by “plenty” we mean like…30 people. At the end of the day, all the White House is really doing here is confusing and alienating people. They’re erasing women from the cultural imagination, and that’s having precisely the opposite effect.

I love the fact that the radical left is not happy with alienating only white Americans and heterosexual as well as conservatives. Eventually they will go too far and we are seeing this begin to form cracks in their cohesiveness. When they run out of people to demonize they will begin to eat their own. The average typical American has already had enough of this ridiculous pointless nonsense. Common sense would tell them that shaming over 60 percent of the population would not be a prudent political move and now they are attacking the entire gender of women. This isn’t the only foolish move that is affecting the women of our nation. Forcing women to share showers and restrooms with people who are clearly dealing with some psychological issues and forcing women to accept men in women’s sports is not working for them. Those who have bought into the narrative up till now are beginning to see how supporting the ridiculous ideas of the left does not give them immunity from their attacks.
