Former President Donald Trump has reported that he will likely visit the U.S.-Mexican border within the next few weeks.
During Trump’s interview with Jeanine Pirro Saturday on Fox News, he stated, “A lot of people want me to,” when asked about heading to the border. He continued to call Biden’s Remain in Mexico policy change “a very bad decision.”
Trump added, “Thousands and thousands of people are coming up right now as we speak. And you’re going to have millions of people pouring into our country. And it’s going to destroy our country.”
President Joe Biden has refused to call the surge in illegal immigration during his term a crisis. However, more than 100,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended in February. At the current pace, more than one million illegal immigrants will enter the U.S. by the end of 2021.
If that’s not a crisis, what is?
Among the new guests are more than 15,000 unaccompanied minors now in Border Patrol custody. These children and teenagers are being held in child migrant camps, the same “kids in cages” locations the media declared so unjust just a few years ago.
Current housing is maxed out far beyond normal capacity. Senator Ted Cruz (TX-D) recently released photos revealing the dire conditions many of the children endure. Project Veritas and other outlets have now also released undercover documentation.
The recently-released pictures and videos prove why the Biden administration had banned media from previously visiting. The images show the administration’s failures in the form of young boys and girls suffering because of bad policy.
It didn’t have to be this way. Yet the first day Biden entered office, he signed an executive order to end most deportations for 100 days. He also signed another order to end construction of Trump’s border wall.
In addition, the Biden administration has reinstated the terrible Obama-era catch and release policy that Trump ended. Instead of immigrants remaining in Mexico until their hearing, they are staying in America, creating a refugee problem unprecedented in the nation’s history.
The impact is already beginning to harm both taxpayers and Americans along the border. Remember, your tax dollars fund FEMA, Border Patrol and the other agencies hosting the current spike of illegal immigrants. Farmers and ranchers along the border are reporting increased vandalism, theft and other crimes due to immigrants passing through their properties without fear of repercussions.
In contrast, in April 2020 about 16,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the border. Most were returned to their country of origin or remained in Mexico for a hearing. They were not allowed to remain on American soil and use American resources.
This week, we’ll see more than 16,000 illegal immigrants enter and stay within our nation. Unless policies change, our border will be nothing more than a line for a roller coaster people wait for to begin their wild ride.
We need Trump to do more than visit. We need Trump to help support conservatives who will win back the House and Senate to put a stop to Biden’s disastrous immigration efforts.

Its not the illegal kids fault but I believe that they all should be returned to the border on the Mexico side and kept there and making their parents take them back.
