The United States and its European Union allies are desperately coming up with ideas of how to give up their dependence on Russian oil, gas and coal.
Using the guise of pretending to care about the Ukraine – Russia conflict, those at the top are insisting that the world move to green energy to power ourselves.
Of course, the most reliable “renewable” energy there is, would be solar and wind but it simply doesn’t have the capabilities to power an entire globe, especially when anti-human Globalists like Bill Gates, want to spray aerosols into the sky to dim the sun.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, said that if “green energy” was made to go to energy source in the west, that global prices for oil and has will skyrocket and actually boost revenues for Russia.
Novak also added that Russia could have shut off the Nord Stream 1, which feeds gas to western Europe, because Nord Stream 2 was banned, but Russia did not do this.
Europe relies on Russia for over 40 percent of it’s gas consumption and Novak said that it has always been a reliable partner, continuing to fulfill gas orders to Europe, which still comes directly through Ukraine.
“We understand that in connection with unfounded accusations against Russia regarding the energy crisis in Europe and the imposition of a ban on Nord Stream 2, we have every right to take a ‘mirror’ decision and impose an embargo on gas pumping through the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, which today is loaded at the maximum level of 100%. But so far, we are not making this decision. No one will benefit from this. Although European politicians are pushing us to this with their statements and accusations against Russia,” he said.
Novak said that Russia is ready for Europe to give up Russian energy resources.
Likely, it will be China that will prop up the Russian oil industry. The Chinese have an insatiable appetite for energy to continue moving forward in their quest for world domination.
Novak also warned that if the West was to give up Russian oil, it would have disastrous consequences for consumers and could see a barrel of oil surging past $300.
The Germans are facing a cold next winter if they do decide to fully axe imports from Russia.
“Quick replacement of Russian oil on the European market is impossible, it will take more than one year, and it will be much more expensive for European consumers. In this scenario, they will be the main victims. European politicians should then honestly warn their citizens and consumers what they should expect, and that the prices at gas stations, for electricity, for heating will skyrocket,” the deputy prime minister said.
“If you want to refuse energy supplies from Russia, please, we are ready for this. We understand where we can redirect these volumes. The only question is who benefits from this and why is this needed,” Novak added.
Of course, the rising prices have nothing at all to do with the EUs terrible energy policies, according to the EU. Yet, their policies have directly effected the rise in oil and gas prices and now they’re attempting to lay all the blame at Russia’s feet.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak, however, called them out for it.
”Unfortunately, today we see a statement by European politicians regarding energy issues, calls to get rid of Russian oil and gas. European officials are once again trying to shift the problems and failures of their own energy policy in recent years onto Russia,” he said.
“As a result, we are seeing a sharp increase in energy prices. I responsibly declare that Russia has nothing to do with the current rise in prices and volatility in the market,” Novak added.
In Europe, the price of gas has reached huge highs, with a barrel of Brent crude oil, selling for $130.
