Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continues to play politics with American lives as she resists the call to remove compromised Rep. Eric Swalwell from the intelligence committee.
“I don’t have any concern about Mr. Swalwell,” Pelosi said. “There are those who believe, and I am among them, that we should be seeing what influenced the Chinese.”
The California Congressman was allegedly among several American powerbrokers seduced by Chinese spy Christine Fang, also known by code name Fang Fang. She targeted Swalwell because he has access to critical national security information. Many firmly believe that the Democrat should resign from Congress in disgrace after being bamboozled by the Chinese national who infiltrated his office and life.
According to recent reports, the attractive mole courted multiple California politicians between 2011 and 2015. It appears Rep. Swalwell succumbed to her feminine wiles. Investigations have yet to identify how many national security secrets Swalwell divulged or how many top-secret documents Fang Fang was able to steal from the unsuspecting Democrat.
“The greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property, and to our economic vitality, is the counterintelligence and economic espionage threat from China,” FBI Director Christopher Wray reportedly said.
The FBI indicated that Chinese nationals routinely target politicians who have access to critical information, as well as those the communists deem sympathetic or who can be influenced. Swalwell has gone on the record indicating that he favors socialist policies such as the Green New Deal. In fact, Swalwell is listed as a co-sponsor of the bill filed by socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). That’s why GOP members of the House demand that Pelosi remove Swalwell from the intelligence committee.
“Because of Rep. Swalwell’s position on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, his close interactions with Chinese intelligence services, however unintentional they may be, are an unacceptable national security risk,” A GOP letter sent to Pelosi reportedly states. “HPSCI handles some of the most sensitive information our government possesses — information critical to our national defense. As such, we urge you to immediately remove Rep. Swalwell from his position on the House Intelligence Committee.”
But what adds insult to injury are reports that Swalwell knew he had been compromised by Fang Fang and hid that information from members of Congress. According to reports, the FBI recognized the danger Swalwell was putting Americans in as far back as 2015. The country’s top law enforcement agency briefed the Democrat about Fang Fang. He never took the patriotic move to step down from the intelligence committee or alert others in his orbit about the covert operations targeting high-ranking politicians. Instead, Swalwell hid the truth and leveled partisan attacks against President Donald Trump, falsely claiming he was compromised by Russia.
“It is unknown how much private and/or classified information Fang had access to as a result of her relationship with Rep. Swalwell and whether Rep. Swalwell was compromised as a relationship with her,” GOP Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner reportedly wrote, demanding a House ethics investigation.
Speaker Pelosi’s response to the rightful call to have Swalwell removed puts American lives at heightened risk. She has also refused Republican requests for additional background checks of foreign nationals and interns who work with members of Congress.
