There are a few rules you should follow in life when it comes to who gives you advice – one thing that you should never do is take diet advice from someone who has struggled with their own weight their whole life and never take advice from someone who has lost every time they were in the race.
Former First Lady and presidential candidate twice over, Hillary Clinton, gave leftists advice on how to not lose this coming election cycle – and that would include dropping the “woke” culture that pushes transgenderism.
For the past few years now, the LGBT movement has been attempting to infiltrate mainstream life, by injecting gay, lesbian and transsexual “culture” into television, movies, and even children’s book.
Being the ultimate fake, Hillary has obviously realized that the “basket of deplorables” are rejecting this perversion in enormous numbers and are not prepared to have their innocent children exposed to such depravity.
The comments came during an interview with the Financial Times who asked:
“Democrats seem to be going out of their way to lose elections by elevating activist causes, notably the transgender debate, which are relevant only to a small minority. What sense does it make to depict JK Rowling as a fascist?”
“We are standing on the precipice of losing our democracy and everything that everybody else cares about then goes out the window,” Clinton said.
“Look, the most important thing is to win the next election. The alternative is so frightening that whatever does not help you win should not be a priority,” she added.
Clinton, the former Secretary of State, also said that issues such as these are doing nothing but distract away from the importance of winning the election.
Clinton made similar comments last year and there are some people who have speculated that she may be the replacement for Joe Biden if he was unable to continue to be president., at the time saying:
“I think that it is a time for some careful thinking about what wins elections, and not just in deep-blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat, or so-called progressive Democrat, is going to win,” adding, “I understand why people want to argue for their priorities. That’s what they believe they were elected to do.”
James Carville, the well-known Democratic strategist, blamed the left’s fixation on identity politics as to why Glen Youngkin won and became Virginia’s governor last year.
“What went wrong is just stupid wokeness,” said Carville.
“It’s just really — has a suppressive effect all across the country on Democrats. Some of these people need to go to a ‘woke’ detox center or something,” he added.
Even former President Barack Obama – who peddled nothing but identity politics during both his terms, said the left had gone too far and in 2019, he said that “wokeness” is not successful activism.
“This idea of purity and you’re never compromised, and you’re always politically woke and all that stuff, you should get over that quickly,” said Obama, “We don’t expect everybody to be politically correct all the time,” he said.
