In the latest anti-American blunder by President Joe Biden, The Wall Street Journal reports the administration is considering payments of up to $450,000 per illegal immigrant for those who were separated from family member by former President Donald Trump.
Another lovely example of your taxpayer dollars at work in the glorious age of the Bidenfication of America.
But why would our nation pay so much for someone who is not even legally entering our nation?
WSJ says, “The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.”
It’s all about the “lasting psychological trauma.” But let’s be honest. If Biden starts handing out $450k to illegal immigrants, he might need to start paying flag-loving Americans some money for the trauma he creates for us.
And just when you think it can’t get any worse, Biden finds a way. In some cases, the payout could be up to nearly $1 million per family.
“The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said,” the WSJ said.
Remember, we’re talking about people who crossed the border illegally. These people are technically international criminals.
But don’t confuse liberals with facts. They have their minds made up already. Trump was the bad guy because he enforced border laws. Biden has opened the door to every person who wants to wade across the Rio Grande River to join up as a future Democrat voter.
Good thing we have a border leader ready to “address the root issues of migration.” Well, in case it’s not clear to Vice President Kamala Harris, the root issues of migration (AKA illegal immigration) is Biden refusing to enforce border laws or allowing others to do so.
When any immigrant can enter the country, say hi to a Border Patrol guard and then find a job and start a new life without any fear of being deported, that’s a problem. Americans are all for legal immigration, but an open border is simply asking for trouble.
With reports now saying ISIS-K and other groups in the Middle East could attack America within months, shouldn’t we be ramping up our security along the border? Wouldn’t it make sense to watch more closely who is entering the nation?
It might sound logical, but it’s simply not happening. Instead, the “every town is a border town” claim is increasingly becoming true. It’s no longer if — but when someone shows up and does harm in our nation. Until then, we’ll apparently just keep paying immigrants to show up and set up shop in America.
