Former President Barack Obama’s “Transgender Mandate” forced medical professionals to perform sex-change surgery on anyone who professes to want it, including young children who are clearly not old enough to make such a life-changing decision.
Needless to say, this policy hit some legal challenges. It runs contrary to the 2014 Supreme Court Hobby Lobby ruling that exempted religious entities from covering abortion pills under the Affordable Care Act. The mandate has been struck down twice in federal court. Even so, President Joe Biden and HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra are doing everything possible to revive the absurd statute. The HHS is currently appealing the decisions in the hopes that some higher court will agree to its demands.
Secretary Xavier Becerra has long been a vicious opponent of religious freedom. As Attorney General of California, he attacked Catholic nuns and other conservatives who opposed abortion. He also sought to force pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise abortion services, a move that contravenes First Amendment rights that prohibit the government from forcing people to endorse or promote causes they do not wish to be associated with.
Secretary Becerra isn’t the only Biden Administration official who thinks it’s fine to run rough-shod over medical professionals with personal convictions. Vice President Kamala Harris filed an amicus brief in 2014 against Hobby Lobby, stating that women “should not be denied” comprehensive health care, including contraceptives, just because employers don’t want to fund this form of care.
The statement is ironic as women are “not denied” healthcare simply because an employer doesn’t want to pay for it. Even so, the Democrat Party’s adamant support for abortion and transgenderism makes it clear that “support” means that taxpayers should cough up extra money for this “essential” medical service.
Ironically, President Biden professes to be a Catholic even as he allows his administration to harass Catholic doctors and nuns. The move to bring back the “transgender mandate” is just the start. Democrat politicians in both houses of Congress are pushing for the passage of the so-called “Equity Act” that would force medical professionals to not only provide transgender “care” but also perform abortions. Religious entities such as Catholic hospitals, Christian schools and foster care services, and even churches would be forced to hire LGBTQ people. Girls’ sports would become a thing of the past as any boy or man who claims to be “female” would be able to join women’s sports and competitions. Biological boys would also be able to use girls’ bathrooms, and be allowed access to homeless shelters and safe places for women fleeing domestic abuse.
The Biden Administration’s move to support the rights of a small minority over the basic rights of the overwhelming majority makes it clear the far-left will only be satisfied when faith-based organizations and individuals are forced out of public life and service.
DNA tests mandatory for women sports. If trans want to compete they should have their own sports network.. Any woman in this country knows about abortion.
I would not like my grand daughter to be in a bathroom with a 19 year old male who claims it is a female. That would be inconceivable to a rational intelligent person.. Oh wait we are talking about Dems–the great dividers and forever

God made 2 sees, man and woman. I understand that some people have chemical imbalan especially and think they were born in the wrong body but we the tax payers are not responsible for that. And, I better not find out that a transgender man has been in the dressing room with my granddaughter or they will be putting me in jail. Dressing rooms? Bathrooms? These transgender men/boys want to be in the showers with 12 year old girls. In the same tents in camps. In women’s prisons where they can’t get away. In women’s and children’s shelters. In preschools and kindergartens where they can start grooming kids.
From the spark of creation, DNA is formed. It determines your hair and eyes color, your sex. That DNA is stamped PERMANENTLY into every cell of your body. No matter how many hormones/blockers you take or surgeries you have you will NEVER change your sex.
Gender is different. Gender is how a person ‘feels’. Basing laws on feelings instead of facts is INSANE. If I feel like a puppy, am I a real puppy? If you feel like a dictator, can you then act as Hitler and kill people? If I feel black, am I?
This has to STOP NOW. I don’t care how politically correct or woke it is. I don’t care how much pressure there is from the radical LGT activists.
We have EQUAL RIGHTS. We do not allow ‘ special right’s for a group of people which then in fact take rights away from another group. Those rights include: the right to privacy, the right to safety, the right to be free from sexual grooming, harassment, abuse and assault, and the right to compete against others of the same biological sex.
