Members of the dishonest liberal media have already begun circling the wagons around the Biden Administration’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. MSNBC recently published a piece under the headline: “A Taliban takeover in Afghanistan will not be Joe Biden’s fault.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
Joe Biden bragged during the 2020 campaign that Obama put him in charge of the first drawdown that inspired ISIS to build a massive and brutal caliphate. As a result, thousands of innocent civilians were murdered, forced into servitude, and ISIS made a policy of forcible rape.
Former President Donald Trump deployed the full weight of the U.S. military to smash the Islamic extremists’ hold in the Middle East and secure the peace. But Joe Biden’s handlers have already surrendered Afghanistan. The Taliban, who worked with Osama bin Laden to orchestrate the 911 Attacks, has effectively built a second caliphate.
“The Taliban launched violent attacks on the outskirts of (provincial capital) Sheberghan this week and during heavy clashes, a pro-government militia forces’ commander loyal to (Dostum militia group)was killed,” Afghan provincial leader Abdul Qader Malia reportedly said.
The Taliban appears to be closing out complete control of the country as Biden orders the U.S. to retreat. Recent reports indicate the radical insurgents occupy and rule over upwards of 90 percent of the Islamic country. Taliban tribal leaders have engaged U.S. adversaries in border and trade discussions that include both Russia and China.
“As the Taliban gain inroads, China wants to maintain contact and ensure that it is not in the Taliban’s bad books, just in case they come to power,” Peking University’s international studies lecturer Yang Chaohui reportedly said. “China would normally be wary of any grouping that operates on the basis of religious extremism, but it has no intention of fighting the Taliban.”
This marks the first time in nearly 20 years the U.S. lacks a decisive voice in the country’s trajectory. It also means the blood spilled by American soldiers and lives lost proved futile. Like Vietnam, U.S. soldiers won the battles and secured the land only to have a Washington, D.C. elite snatch away victory. Joe Biden has now scuttled the hard-won peace and handed the region over to America’s enemies.
Media outlets not on the Democrat’s payroll, such as the Wall Street Journal, published dire warnings that point to a potentially more brutal caliphate than the one established by who Obama called Al-Qaeda’s “JV team.”
“Atrocities have accompanied the Taliban’s battlefield gains. A video last month purportedly showed the Taliban executing 22 Afghan government special forces after they surrendered,” the Wall Street Journal reported. “Last month, the Taliban brutalized and murdered Danish Siddiqui, an Indian Pulitzer-prize winning photojournalist with Reuters. They also murdered a folksy Afghan comedian known for poking fun at them. In some places, Taliban commanders have reportedly demanded lists of widows and unmarried women between 15 and 45 to be married off to their fighters.”
The fake news media will continue to push false narratives that the brutal caliphate established by the Taliban is not due to the Biden Administration playing politics. The facts are that this marks the second time Joe Biden knowingly threw innocent people in the Middle East to the wolves. Joe Biden surrendered the peace and inspired another caliphate, not the brave men and women who won it!
