WATCH: Dan Crenshaw SHOCKS Joe Rogan with Facts About Stimulus Checks

Podcaster Joe Rogan was stunned into silence during a sit-down with Texas. Rep. Dan Crenshaw after the conservative lawmaker illuminated an obvious fact about the pandemic stimulus checks.

Apparently, the comedian didn’t know that most stimulus checks went out to Americans that did not lose their jobs at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Crenshaw was deriding the stimulus rollout for cutting off the incentive for Americans to get back to work.

Like most conservatives, Rep. Crenshaw has taken a very critical stance on the economic lockdowns that have become popular policy for Democratic lawmakers. Mayors and governors around the country have become de facto petty tyrants as small businesses were shuttered, and “non-essential” employees were unable to go to work. Despite this, the robust economy propped up by then-President Donald Trump’s America First policies was able to quickly adjust. Soon, businesses were able to change their models and allow many employees to work from home. Because of this, most Americans were able to keep their jobs and their income.

At the end of the day, America never sank to Great Depression levels, and experienced the fastest economic recovery in the country’s history. Logic would hold that the government would continue to take a hands off approach, and allow private industry to rebuild on its own. But as we all know, Democrats are micromanagers, and that simply is never allowed to happen.

The Democrat-held Congress has since disincentivized Americans from returning to work or seeking new employment by upping unemployment insurance to levels that compete with actual wages. Many of these workers are collecting more income by being unemployed. This is simply unsustainable.

As it turns out, Joe Rogan didn’t know any of this, indicating that he doesn’t spend time with anyone making less than $80,000 per year. Crenshaw was quick to spell out the facts.
