Former President Donald Trump blasted “woke” progressives during his Alabama rally Saturday with the biting words, “Everything woke turns to s***.”
He asked, “You think General Patton was woke? I don’t think so… He was the exact opposite. You know what woke means? It means you’re a loser. Everything woke turns to s***.”
Trump used the example of the U.S. women’s soccer team in his remarks. “Our women’s soccer team was supposed to easily win, but they went woke. Except for a few of them. I love those women that stood up and they saluted our flag. There were some of them. But the one with the purple hair, she didn’t play too well.”
The words mark a complete contrast with the work worldview running the White House under President Joe Biden. He claims to have the most diverse administration in U.S. history. But as Trump noted, everything woke turns to – well, you know.
Flying the Pride flag over the American Embassy in Kabul didn’t work out too well for the U.S. Neither has the emphasis on diversity and fighting alleged white supremacy in the military. Instead of leading, we’re losing, and it’s largely to blame for an attitude that values inclusion over execution.
Instead of doing what’s necessary to lead the nation well, Biden and Harris talk about “root causes” and “climate justice.” Instead of saluting our flag, our troops and law enforcement, they have abandoned our people and threaten to defund our police.
Every right is now a wrong. Freedom of speech? Only if it’s approved by Biden and its partnership with Big Tech. The right to bear arms? It’s apparently the root of all evil for Democrats.
Have you noticed how many stores can’t get supplies or workers lately? Or the price of gas, a car, a home or anything else? Bidenflation is killing off the middle class while they talk about a green peace corps funded by an infrastructure plan that’s supposed to build bridges and roads.
Have you seen our border lately? We look like a refugee nation or some third-world country about a step above the country Biden is trying to leave Americans stranded in over in the Middle East. Our towns and military bases are being turned into tent cities for people who have illegally entered our nation and should be in jail or deported.
Trump’s fiery words are right on target on this one. Woke is increasingly a code word for failure. We don’t need more inclusion to secure the border or get Americans out of Afghanistan. We need a commander-in-chief who can make a decision and get the job done.
We had one for four years. Yes, he was harsh on Twitter and could offend a few people. But he secured the border. We haven’t had a major terrorist attack for four years. We even had new peace agreements in the Middle East. You could afford gas and could even find your favorite items at the store.
It’s time to kick “woke” to the curb and save America.
