During the height of the pandemic, a group of seemingly unconnected travelers gathered together on a Texas beach for a get-to-know-you barbecue. Soon into the conversation, they figured out they were conservative Christians, with the exception of a young liberal woman from Ohio. The conversation naturally touched on politics, the BLM riots, and Covid.
At this point, the Ohio woman leaned in and said, “Do you know who the real super-spreaders are? Everyone paused. And she said, “Republicans.”
The laughter was hearty, and the mood lightened. Frankly, she was the life of the party after that. Behind the joke was a sliver of truth. Not that conservative people are more likely to get or spread Covid. The truth is that Democrats and their friends in the fake news media have been pushing a false narrative that conservative Americans spread Covid, not liberals.
Consider for a moment the recent Obama 60th birthday bash on Martha’s Vineyard. The transmission data indicates that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people can contract and pass along the virus. The CDC tries to hide this fact because Democrats, including Joe Biden’s handlers, continue to blame White Southern conservatives for rising Covid cases — and nobody else.
But with Obama inviting upwards of 600 liberal elites and celebrities, the media didn’t just fail to condemn the potential super-spreader event. A New York Times reporter went as far as to say that the liberal guests were essentially too “sophisticated” to spread the virus. CNN — the leader in fake news — aired a segment led by hack reporter Jim Acosta that went through all the Covid precautions being employed. These included the idea liberals were “assumed” to be vaccinated.
Truth be told, residents of Martha’s Vineyard were reportedly angry that hundreds of people from across the country were congregating on one property. Following the Obama super-spreader event, the small island saw a spike in infections. Within weeks after Obama thumbed his nose and the community, Martha’s Vineyard suffered its second-highest case rate. The Obama surge challenged the number of cases at the height of the pandemic.
Naturally, the fake news media trolled out a phony narrative that none of the cases could be traced to more than 600 people overrunning the village. C’mon. That stinks worse than the Russian Collusion hoax perpetrated by the same dishonest media.
Everyday people would consider this a type of hypocrisy, given the scientific facts about the spread. But contrary to the conventional wisdom of thinking people, Democrats and their kindred liberals in the media do not believe they are hypocrites or liars in any way, shape, or form. The left truly believes that conservative Americans need to be put under their boot heels and comply with their extremist liberal ideologies. As conservative icon Ben Shapiro routinely points out, far-left Democrats do not distinguish between opinions, emotions, and facts. Their opinions and feelings are facts, in their view.
Democrats hate the fact conservative American patriots will not bend the knee to their brand of socialism and surrender constitutionally guaranteed freedoms. They will blame you for anything, and that’s no joke.
