In the latest COVID-related insult to human dignity, New York City public school teachers are being told that they must give up their right to sue over potential harm caused by one of the many COVID vaccines which they are being told they must take. They have been told that they will lose their health benefits if they do not take the vaccine, and they must waive their right to sue over vaccine-related harm.
These conditions were put into place due to an agreement settled upon by the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), the city’s largest teacher’s union. The union celebrated the agreement as a victory, forcing the city to recognize religious and medical exceptions to the vaccine. They claim it allows teachers to take a year of unpaid leave while retaining their health care benefits, or they may resign and be compensated for unpaid sick days with one year of continued health insurance.
While the UFT may be pleased that they were able to throw their weight around and look like winners, NYC teachers are losing. If they take the vaccine and are injured or killed by it, they will not be able to sue. If they do not take the vaccine, they lose their health benefits or may resign and keep their health benefits for up to a year and get paid for the vacation days they have already earned.
This waiver of the right to sue isn’t the right to sue a hospital or the vaccine manufacturers. It is a waiver of the right to sue NYC over the vaccine mandate. Bear in mind, the pharmaceutical industry is well protected against lawsuits by the victims over vaccination injuries. In addition to that protection, there is a national vaccination injury fund, paid for by those who take vaccines. This fund is used to pay those who manage to bypass the protections Big Pharma already enjoys.
But now there is another party involved in the decades-long pressure campaign to get more people to take vaccines, the government. As the newest contributor to this decades-old pressure campaign, the government (in this case, the NYC government) is the only member of this medical chain gang to lack legal protections.
This caveat is designed to remedy that, and make the city immune to legal action by citizens who have been coerced into taking this experimental, unproven, vaccine which was rushed to market faster than any other vaccine in history. If they successfully close this chink in their armor, there will be very little to stop this longstanding medical cabal from forcing people in all walks of life to take this experimental vaccine.
Don’t forget, this is not going to be a one-and-done shot. You will be expected to take boosters at least three times a year. Consider the now-common phrase, “fully vaccinated.” We have never used this phrase before. It suggests that one vaccine is not enough.
Despite all this, studies show that the safest and most effective inoculation is having contracted and recovered from the virus while never having taken any of the many vaccines. That’s what the real science says.
