Over the past year and a half, Americans have come very well acquainted with the phrase, “Rules for thee, not for me.” This refers to the insistence of the illiberal Left on imposing restrictions of all kinds on the general population. We’ve seen this phrase come to life with tyrannical governors such as Gretchen Whitmer and Gavin Newsom shuttering their population while taking themselves out to fancy dinners with their elite friends.
Now, we have yet another example from madam resentment herself, Nancy Pelosi. She held a fundraiser event attended by dozens of moneyed, high-level Leftists sitting at the big-people table – all of whom have supported and/or openly called for mask mandates, forced vaccinations, and the criminalization of the populist and freedom movements. In a short video of the event, all were unmasked, sitting within one foot of each other, and only the wait staff were wearing their ritualistic shame muzzles.
This is the very coinage of their movement and their kind. The servant class is muzzled and silent, while the rich Democrat-rule makers enjoy fresh air and close company while planning to write and fund efforts to mask you, vaccinate you, break the economy, and destroy liberty.

Among the low-level Leftists, we can judge these types of behaviors in terms of spiritual warfare. These people do not arrive at their worldview through reason or evidence. They arrive at their world view through unquestioning acceptance of what they are told by faces on TV, their social-Marxist college professors, and by Hollywood. Their thinking is logically inconsistent, but it is spiritually and effectively very consistent. It is essentially Critical Theory, which at its heart is nothing more than persistent criticism of norms, conventions, groups, and natural proclivities.
At its core, this type of thinking is nothing more than sheer, generalized resentment. That is why they do not violate their core values when they violate their own rules. It is because the spirit behind their actions is a spirit of accusation, bitterness, and ill will.
It is for this reason that Republicans fail when they point out the lies, inconsistencies, and hypocrisy of their leftist opponents. We must realize en-mass that the Left is not interested in truth or fairness. They are interested in destruction and power. Full stop. This is a war, and if they win it, they will ruin, kill, and enslave people like you.
