More American Taxpayer Money Is Being Sent To Ukraine To Pay Their Healthcare Workers

War is a cash cow, and no one knows this better than the Democrats and the corrupt governments they send hard-earned American taxpayer dollars to.

Since February, when Russia moved troops in Ukraine, the United States has sent a whopping $7 billion to Ukraine, which famously has a reputation for corruption, so “fight” back against the Russian invasion – which could have been avoided in the first place if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had of made good on his campaign promises not to join NATO.

It turns out that the amount already sent for aid was not enough, nor was all the weapons and ammunition that has also been sent to the area and now the United States is going to also pay for health care workers – in Ukraine.

Politico reported on Tuesday, “Ukraine is getting an additional $1.7 billion in assistance from the U.S. government and the World Bank to pay the salaries of its beleaguered health care workers and provide other essential services.”

Viktor Liashko, Ukraine’s minister of health, has stated that Ukraine’s medical and hospital infrastructure is collapsing and the Ukrainian government is struggling to pay the wages of health care workers as a result, “due to the overwhelming burden of war.”

As reported by Politico:

“$1.7 billion is not just yet another financial support; it is an investment that makes us a step closer to victory,” Liashko said in a statement.

Previous funds from the U.S. have been earmarked for keeping gas and electricity running in hospitals and schools, securing humanitarian aid for citizens and paying salaries of civil servants and teachers, the AP reported.

“This aid will help Ukraine’s democratic government provide essential services for the people of Ukraine,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said in a statement.

Tens of billions of dollars have been allocated by the U.S. to support Ukraine since the war began in late February. Much of that support has been dedicated to the country’s military, sending weapons and ammunition to help stave off Russian troops.

To date, the USAID has handed out $4 billion to Ukraine and USAID Administrator Samantha Power asserted that Russia’s “assault on Ukraine’s public services continues, the United States is rushing in with financial support to help the government keep the lights on, provide essential services to innocent citizens and pay the health care workers who are providing lifesaving support on the frontlines.”

These comments come as America’s own infrastructure and health care services are falling into a dilapidated state and Americans struggle to pay their rent and fill their gas tanks.

Trust the Democrats to want to virtue signal, sending billions to a foreign nation for yet another war, while completely ignoring the problems at home. This was the reason former President Donald Trump was so popular – he was a breath of fresh air and put America first for once.

  1. Give, give, what about our health workers? How about out vets sleeping on the street. This commie president has to be impeached. He is not worried about All the illegals coming into our country,no different than the Russians coming into the Ukrain

  2. It is now clear that the Ukraine-Russia “war” was arranged by the globalists and their puppet regime in order to drain the American treasury and further collapse the American economy. This takes billions of dollars from Americans and will contribute to the starvation that will facilitate depopulation that can be replaced by brown Third World invaders in the Great Replacement and immiseration that will make surviving Americans clamor for the Great Reset,
