The once-vigilant March for Life bent the knee to baby killers and liberals by insisting attendees of its annual Rose Dinner Gala get a Covid shot or proof of a negative test. Following a backlash against taking a so-called “vaccine” that was developed using aborted babies, the annual pro-life event was reportedly canceled indoor gatherings.
“In order to attend the Rose Dinner Gala or Capitol Hill 101, those 12 years and older must provide the Renaissance DC Downtown Hotel with proof of identification and either (1) proof of receiving one COVID shot by January 15; or (2) a medical or religious exemption together with proof of a negative COVID test within the last 24 hours,” the March for Life website reportedly states.
Ranked among the country’s most prominent pro-life organizations, its annual schedule of events has been drastically altered. Democrat-run Washington, D.C., implemented a vaccine mandate for all indoor gatherings. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s order requires people to show proof of vaccination to enter businesses throughout the nation’s Capital. It’s no fluke the Democrat timed the mandate to go into effect just days before the March for Life gathering began on Jan. 21.
“We had to shut down because we didn’t know a lot about the virus. And we knew it was very dangerous. And we didn’t have effective pharmaceutical interventions. But now we do,” Mayor Bowser reportedly said. “If you are a resident who has not yet been vaccinated, and you want to continue enjoying these activities, now’s the time to get vaccinated.”
The mayor’s demand allows people to cite a religious exemption. Pro-life community members can declare their defiance to the use of aborted infants as a violation of God’s law.
“A religious exemption may be stated verbally or provided in writing and must be accompanied by a negative COVID test in the last 24 hours,” March for Life reportedly stated. “PCR, antigen, and other tests available at drugstores are approved. Pictures of negative tests and emails of confirmed negative results are acceptable. Due to high demand, we recommend purchasing a test soon and bringing it from home as tests may not be readily available in Washington, D.C.”
The Biden Administration appears to have deliberately underestimated the amount of Covid testing kits the country needs and did not federally order an adequate supply. This divisive political maneuver directly undermines the position people of faith have taken concerning the shot. A test shortage appears to be yet another in a long line of coercive attacks by Joe Biden on people who refuse to support abortion clinics such as Democrat donor Planned Parenthood. Without access to testing, Biden plans to bar people of faith from community events, jobs, and free speech gatherings such as the March for Life.
The Covid shots also reportedly impact unborn children. Reports indicate that expectant mothers are at increased risk of miscarriage or “spontaneous abortion” from the jab. A study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention demonstrated that “712 had given birth to healthy babies, 104 experienced miscarriages and one had a stillbirth” in connection with the shot, according to reports.
It’s discouraging that March for Life officials did not bring the left-wing mayor to court and secure an injunction to move forward with its already scheduled gathering. Other possibilities could have involved moving the indoor events to a nearby city or town not run by liberal extremists who deny the data and science regarding the jab.
Wide-reaching information indicates the Covid shots in no way, shape or form prevent people from contracting any of the variants. Vaccinated people are less likely to experience symptoms and have emerged as super-spreaders. Despite the facts behind the fetal-tissue Covid shot, the Biden Administration and Democrats across the country continue to push vaccine mandates.
The U.S. Supreme Court recently heard a challenge to the White House’s order that private companies with 100 or more employees must comply. Workers need to either show proof of getting the jab or provide a weekly negative test at their own expense. Many suspect the sudden test kit shortage is politically driven.
Although March for Life officials may not have wrestled an indoor exemption away from Mayor Bowser, outdoor events remain in place. The 49th annual March for Life rally will take place at the National Mall and voice concerns in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Jan. 21. Despite interference by the pro-abortion Democrat mayor, attendance is expected to exceed pre-pandemic levels. This year’s theme is “Equality Begins in the Womb,” and the Supreme Court is currently considering a case that could upend the misguided 1973 Roe v Wade decision.
