Does Elon Musk Plan to Invade Twitter and Wage War on Fake News Media?

Elon Musk fancies himself a free speech “absolutist,” and his recent Twitter stock purchase appear to be a shot across the bow of the fake news establishment media. The man who became an international household name for manufacturing Tesla electric cars, space travel, and selling a few flamethrowers, could once again be changing reality as we know it after saying “significant improvements” are needed.

“Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy,” Musk reportedly tweeted. “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle? What should be done? Is a new platform needed?”

Now the largest Twitter shareholder on the heavily censored social media platform, Musk declined a seat on its board of directors. His reason for rebuffing a seat at the table was obvious. Board members cannot continue to buy a majority interest. Musk holds the most at upwards of 10 percent, leaving liberals with a 90-percent voting bloc against the say-anything icon. After Corporate Twitter thumbed its nose with the following statement, Musk was made abundantly aware that annexing 10 percent of its stock would accomplish little.

“Our policy decisions are not determined by the Board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions,” the company reportedly said, pushing back on Musk.

Absolute free speech requires absolute control and Musk appears to be planning a Twitter invasion.

The mainstream media has already begun churning up its anti-Musk propaganda because social media outlets controlled by the left have been willing allies. Fake news outlets such as CNN were able to collude with Twitter, Facebook, and others, to prevent the fact-based Hunter Biden laptop story from reaching voters. This unprecedented election meddling allowed the corrupt politician and Biden crime family to occupy the Oval Office. That all goes away with a free speech proponent calling the shots at Twitter. In a move that can only make intelligent people laugh, The Washington Post published a column by former Reddit CEO Ellen Pao claiming Musk’s Twitter stake “shows that we need regulation of social media platforms to prevent rich people from controlling our channels of communication,” calling initial reported he would join its board a “slap in the face.”

But given the prompt pushback by Twitter bureaucrats, it’s abundantly clear Musk would have fought a trench war to ensure the true facts of the Hunter Biden laptop story were not suppressed. As a wing of the radicalized elements in the Democratic Party, bought-and-paid-for media corporations do far more damage than garden variety disinformation. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson recently exposed how insidiously deep information manipulation runs.

Recent “coverage” of the Russia-Ukraine War highlights the fact outlets such as NBC and MSNBC no longer question the Biden Administration or influential Democrats. Carlson demonstrated that information on your televisions falsely claimed Russia deployed chemical weapons. In fact, the White House fed these left-wing reporters and editors a series of disinformation about Russia, China, war crimes, and other titillating issues. Not only did the establishment media echo them to improve their ratings, but they also later celebrated the proliferation of lies.

“Now we’re in the middle of the war and the U.S. has been releasing intelligence, and sometimes it’s not always based on the most high-confidence reporting. For example, the United States made public that they believed there were indications that Russia may be poised to use chemical agents in Ukraine,” NBC News correspondent Ken Dilanian boasted. “Now that hasn’t come to pass, and officials told us that one of the reasons for making that public was in part to deter it. In another case, they talked about Russia going to China to ask for military help. There’s no indication that that has happened, either, but that was a way of warning the Chinese not to do it.”

In other words, NBC and others no longer question White House statements, verify facts, or even feel embarrassed when they issue untruthful reports. They’re proud of having lied, misled, and emerged as an active false propaganda participant. If CNN is the leader in fake news, then NBC and MSNBC are the willing prostitutes of Biden’s disinformation. Nothing is true, and that’s pricelessly what Elon Musk refuses to tolerate.

Among Musk’s telling tweets, he’s gone on the record indicating that “69.42 percent of statistics are false.”

It appears Musk backed out of the Twitter board appointment because it impedes his ability to buy it all. The company limits board members to only 14 percent control, which prevents mandating free speech policies. Owning a majority would allow the iconoclastic Musk to restore free speech to the “de facto public square.”
