When President Joe Biden empowered the climate cult by making the issue his administration’s top priority, it signaled the Chinese Communist Party the time for global expansion had arrived.
China’s Belt and Road Initiative represents one of the less than subtle ways it plans to strategically control every level of commerce and human interactions. With Biden’s so-called “Special Presidential Climate Envoy” John Kerry bumbling through diplomacy, true facts continue to be ignored.
The communists never made a serious commitment to reducing their pollution. In fact, when former President Barack Obama signed the U.S. to the Paris Climate Accord, the Asian power agreed to increase its C02 emissions through 2030. According to the BBC, “China has pledged to peak its emissions by 2030” and is “currently running 1,058 coal plants — more than half the world’s capacity.”
If Climate Cult progressives like Biden, Kerry, and other liberal extremists genuinely believed their doomsday prophesies, they would focus on China. The U.S. peak emissions occurred more than a decade ago, and they were lower in 2019 than in 1990 despite an expanding economy. China, by contrast, tripled its carbon emissions since 1990 and currently thumbs its nose at reductions this decade. Ranked as the world’s largest coal producer and user in manufacturing and electricity generation, China now sends more carbon pollution into the atmosphere than all the developed countries in the world.
“Communist China is the world’s worst polluter & we can’t trust it will do anything to change course,” Florida Senator Rick Scott reportedly tweeted. “Addressing our changing climate requires real solutions, but we can’t pretend toothless agreements with mega-polluters like Communist China will do anything to advance (Belt and Road Initiative) work.”
A San Francisco-based research outfit known as NGO Global Energy Monitor confirmed China increased to 1,082 coal-fired power plants to start 2021. The regime is positioning itself for a massive market expansion by promptly building 92 coal-driven stations and has another 135 in pre-construction. These will add to its pollutants with more coming down the pipeline at least until 2030. By then, its nearly non-existent environmental regulations will steal an increased number of other countries’ corporations.
Even though the U.S. posts carbon reductions year over year, climate cult Democrats plan to ratchet up another round of business-killing regulations. Biden’s Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, appears ready to coerce the Fed and U.S. businesses to adopt crushing regulations or suffer financial ramifications. Moody’s climate solutions chief Emilie Mazzacurati affirmed political forces were gathering against corporations.
“We’ve seen very strong signals from the Biden administration, that climate is one of the top priorities,” Mazzacurati reportedly said. “We’ve also seen a lot of strong signals from the different financial supervisory agencies, including the Fed. So, I expect that this is a space that is going to move very fast in the U.S. going forward.”
The big winner will inevitably be the communists who pay lip service to climate cult politicians and push forward with global market share expansions.
