It’s safe to say: If China is urging its citizens to stockpile before winter, so should you.
On Monday, the Chinese government warned citizens that they should be prepared this winter and encouraged the stockpiling of food and necessities for emergencies, a cold snap or even as some commentators have pointed out online, preparing for the possibility of war.
With the global supply chain in tatters after nearly two years of COVID-19, China has also recently had to deal with consistent problems with their energy grids, prompting the Ministry of Commerce to issue the statement saying they want local suppliers to keep prices stable and that Chinese families should stockpile before winter hits.
That’s not to say that China didn’t do very well during the pandemic. The Chinese economy was the first to bounce back and coronavirus numbers all but disappeared in China, while the rest of the world was under house arrest with businesses left and right forced to shut down.
Continuous lockdowns, resulting in trillions of dollars worth of debt for the United States, only strengthened China’s resolve to start flexing their muscles at Taiwan, who like a jilted ex-lover, are determined to claim back.
This is not the first time China has made a call to citizens to hoard goods.
When the pandemic first made its appearance worldwide in 2020, companies in China were recruiting Chinese nationals living overseas to buy up essential everyday items and medicine in grocery stores and pharmacies, including face masks and PPE gear in Australia and New Zealand, to ship them back to China.
This puts those companies in a good position to gouge prices. One retailer during the early days of the pandemic was selling 50 surgical face masks for $1,500 online, an extreme example, but prices for everything else has slowly crept into concerning territories.
Supply goes down, demand goes up and the outcome is a higher price. It’s basic math.
The supply chain is only going to get worse, and the Biden administration refuses to acknowledge there is a serious problem coming.
During a press conference when asked about supply chain and food shortages that will no doubt take hold once it fully collapses, press secretary Jen Psaki completely dismissed it as nonsense.
U.S. food companies like Butterball, however, are singing a very different tune and warning customers that Thanksgiving could very well be short on turkeys this year. Walmart and other chain stores also confirmed this will be a lean upcoming holiday season.
You only need to go to your local store to see the impact of the collapsing markets. Shelves are empty, while back-logged container ships have been waiting to unload their cargo but have been stranded off the coast of California for weeks now — with some companies sending their ships through the Panama Canal to Florida, Louisiana and Texas ports.
Joe Biden recently signed an executive order allowing the National Defense Stockpile to be used. This allegedly would be used to keep prices lower, but this would only be a temporary fix and a long-term plan to let the economy recover — seems to be a pipe dream at best.
During this point in time, it would be prudent of Americans to also stockpile and prepare for any eventuality.
“Doomsday preppers,” according to the Biden administration, are now regarded as “domestic terrorists.”
This should be taken as a sign that the current leadership has no idea what real leadership looks like, and their spineless approach to kowtowing to the Communist Chinese only further exacerbates crumbling relations.
Time to get prepared.
Why sit and wait out the shore of California? These captain need to fire up the engine and head to Texas or Florida to get unloaded. Has the people forgotten? That Obama use the whole western coast state as a down payment for 775 billion dollars from China? Do we know if it been paid back? There has never been anything in the MSM OR ANY NEWS STATION telling us it was paid back! So that make these three state properties of CHINA! Given China the power to shut down the shipping port!
Biden SHOULD have been sent home and the REAL PRESIDENT TRUMP, ALLOWED IMMEDIATELY TO CONTINUE HIS PRESIDENCY. He won, Biden lost. Ergo, why are we taking the illegal leftwing dictators orders? I certainly do what I want to do and schools and businesses are afraid to?

I couldn’t agree with you more! I see all this B.S. is building pressure, and “We the People” aren’t going to sit on our thumbs much longer. To envision a revolt no longer requires an imagination, just an American public that is fed with the unpatriotic anarchy that is trying to destroy the country. If you’ve never thought about how the indigenous people felt about having their land stolen and their freedom stripped from their lives, this might be close to how it all started. And I’m not going to wait until they start with the genocide of patriots to begin.
