President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden visited their Delaware home again this week, marking the 12th visit in the president’s first four months in office.
“In the evening, the president and the first lady will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where they will remain until Friday,” the White House’s daily guidance email for Wednesday stated, according to the Washington Examiner.
According to WMC-TV in Delaware, “Biden bought the beach house for $2.7 million in 2017, after leaving the vice presidency and aided by a $8 million multibook deal that he and his wife signed.”
It noted, “The house is on a cul-de-sac in North Shores, just north of the beach resort. It has a swimming pool that overlooks Cape Henlopen State Park, where Biden’s helicopter landed Wednesday. The house is blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and a short drive from downtown Rehoboth Beach.”
The trip also marked the first lady’s 70th birthday, according to the New York Post. Despite his effort to look like a working-class American, the Bidens have ranked high in wealth.
They reported more than $600,000 in income for 2020, with more than $944,000 in 2019, according to reports. Delaware remains an important place for the president. When leaving for the inauguration, he said, “When I die, Delaware will be written on my heart.”
Interestingly, The Associated Press referred to the trip as “a rare midweek getaway from the White House by a president. It also was Biden’s first visit to the couple’s vacation home since he took office in January.”
However, they left out the part about it being Biden’s 12th visit to Delaware in four months. When former President Donald Trump played golf or left town, he was attacked by mainstream media. When Biden does it for the 12th time in four months, it’s rare.
In addition to concerns about Biden’s health, the reporting on the topic also reveals mainstream media’s ongoing leftist bias. Biden needs to visit a few more places to get American moving in the right direction — maybe the U.S.-Mexico border, a visit to Israel or even a visit with Congress.
Instead, the president delegates everything to Vice President Kamala Harris and disappears as InvisiBiden. Many Americans couldn’t even tell you the last time they can remember seeing Biden speak.
Where is his action on the immigration crisis? Where was he when our ally Israel was under attack? Where was Biden when every natural disaster in the last four months has hit?
Eating chocolate ice cream and reading the teleprompter (often badly) is not enough. Biden is the nation’s leader, but he has been acting more like a retired ninja trying hide from the media and America, often in his home state of Delaware.
The president’s birthday celebration with the first lady is all well and good, but his lack of visits elsewhere highlight one of many concerns regarding the Democrat president.
