It is growing more difficult to deny that the 2020 Presidental Election hasn’t been a nationwide mess. One state that has turned into an absolute boondoggle is Arizona. With just 14 percent of the votes counted, several news agencies took it upon themselves to chalk up Arizona’s 11 electoral votes under the Biden win column. Chris Salcedo of Newsmax TV talked with Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona and Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus to get his reaction to the Arizona vote and how the Congress will move forward when it comes to investigating some of Biden’s more questionable actions.
Biggs predicted that Trump would pick up a large number of votes. This prediction was based on the fact that Arizona’s rural districts were shown to be voting for the President at 2 to 1, or even 3 to 1 over Biden. The congressman stated that one of the largest counties with votes still outstanding was his home county of Maricopa, and he expected that the majority of those votes would support Trump. In addition, Biggs mentioned 40,000 provisional ballots still needed to be looked at. However, there was no way to know how many of these ballots will count.
“It is an uphill battle, yet, but there is an opportunity, and I think, and I’m praying, and I believe he is going to do it,” Biggs said about the possibility of Trump retaking Arizona.
But Biggs still has some significant concerns when it comes to voting accuracy in Arizona. One of these concerns is the so-called “Green Button” issue. The “Green Button” issue occured when some voters’ ballots were unintentionally canceled due to poll worker error. This error affected about 9900 votes in Maricopa County alone. According to Biggs, a larger, state-wide problem that could very well lead to incorrect votes for Biden is Arizona’s decision to use Dominion voting software.
Dominion voting software has been widely reported as being plagued by a number of issues in other areas of the country. To remedy any potential for fraud, the congressman wants to see the state conduct a hand count, especially due to how close this election turned out.
The host, Chris Salcedo, asked Biggs of Biden did manage to become the 47th president of the US, whether there would be enough evidence for Congress to start looking at collusion between Biden and China.
“Yes, there is plenty of evidence. There is plenty of evidence there,” Biggs answered, but then he reminded Salcedo that the Democrats will still control the House. He continued by saying that the leaders of the Democratic Party would not want to investigate these allegations. Therefore, it would be up to the Senate to take the lead in any investigations into these matters.
“There already is enough evidence to investigate Joe Biden and also his cronies. And I think we should be doing that. That is really part of this whole thing,” Biggs concluded.
